When Sarah and Aaron reached out and asked if I could take photos of them in Seattle Washington at the Ferris Wheel while it changed color to the gender of their baby, I could not say yes fast enough! These two could not have been sweeter. I have been loving all of the maternity sessions that I have been shooting recently. Hearing each couple's stories about their journey through fertility and what goes into their babies' names makes me emotional. I feel so blessed to have the job I do, where I get to capture these memories that my clients will hold close to them forever!
Safety always takes priority. When planning where to shoot in Seattle you want to make sure that you find a safe place to park and travel with someone! I have found the closest parking is: https://goo.gl/maps/uLHho9WnsmBsP1ky9 (Also below, just click on the map!)
While you are in the area, I highly recommend checking out the Pike Place Market, Space Needle or the Seattle Museum. If it is still there when you plan to visit, a favorite of mine is the Beyond Van Gogh exhibit. They took Van Gogh's art and made it a complete digital walk through. You get to experience the moving parts of the paintings and the art surrounds you! I took my family to Beyond and would recommend visiting if you are in the area!
I always tell my clients to make a fun day or trip out of their shoot! I want my clients to have the best experience!
This is information you should know before planning to visit! If you're planning on dining I highly recommend this local, family owned restaurant, Surrell.
